Up for sale is a holy grail of boutique guitar effects: an original Paul Trombetta Design (PTD) Tornita!, hand-built in October 2007. This is an extremely early unit, featuring Serial Number #007, fully hand-engraved and signed by Paul Trombetta on the back plate.This exact pedal carries an incredible avant-garde history: the Tornita! circuit was originally designed by PTD for the legendary guitarist David Torn.

Much more than a fuzz, the Tornita! is an experimental noise machine and oscillating fuzz engine. It tracks your playing with wild feedback, synth-like sub-octaves, starved-bias velcro tones, and infinite texturing. The iconic oversized aluminum knob on the bottom left is custom-designed for on-the-fly foot control during live performances.
Condition:
Excellent and 100% original. The raw brushed aluminum enclosure looks amazing, featuring PTD’s signature hand-stamped "IN" and power polarity markings on the back.
