Pearl Masterworks 14x5 Santos Rosewood Limited Edition Snare – Gold Hardware – 2000 – Mint

Offered here is an exceptional early Pearl Masterworks 14×5 Santos Rosewood snare, manufactured in July 2000, serial number 004329. This rare Masterworks configuration features a beautiful Santos Rosewood shell with reinforcement rings and striking gold-plated hardware, including tube lugs and die-cast hoops.

The drum is in exceptional near-mint/mint collector condition and has seen very little playing time. The rosewood shell displays beautiful natural grain and depth, while the gold hardware remains remarkably clean.

The interior retains its original Pearl Masterworks identification label showing Serial No. 004329 and Date of Manufacture 00/07, providing excellent provenance for this early Masterworks instrument.

This is from the early era of Pearl's flagship Masterworks program, when these instruments represented Pearl's highest level of custom drum building. The shallow 5" depth, exotic rosewood construction and gold hardware make this an especially unusual configuration.

Beyond its collectibility, it's an exceptional player's snare: articulate and sensitive with the projection and definition associated with dense rosewood, while the 5" depth provides a fast, immediate response.
