Everyone wants A Pernambuco neck Collection DGT but this guitar is not for NPCs, it's for those with main character energy.

A very small number of these DGT's were made with Pernambuco necks in the Collection series. This is number 33, but it's possible a fraction of that number were actually made. Production numbers have never been released by PRS and the Collection II series also included an acoustic guitar.

Pernambuco is real, this guitar rings and sustains and does the harmonic things you hear about. It's no wonder the most sought after violin bows are made of it.

The materials on this guitar are not available any longer. Pernambuco is long gone from being importable and the Mammoth Ivory inlays and purfling are no longer offered on Private Stock builds.

This guitar is fresh from PTC with a factory refin done by the Private Stock Team of their best current, ultra thin high gloss nitro finish. While it was there I had them install the latest DGT TCI pickups and tuners. The old ones are included in the case. See the last 2 photos for the guitar before the refin. There was a smudge area on the back of the guitar from reacting with the case so I had the entire guitar refinished in their best available nitro and replaced the case with a new private stock case to assure the finish reaction never happens again. It is unplayed since the refin, only taken out of it's case for photos.
