Yamaha RA-200 Rotating Speaker Amp – Working Condition / Vintage Player's Grade

Up for sale is a vintage Yamaha RA-200 solid-state rotary speaker amplifier. Famous for its unique three-horn rotating speaker system, built-in tremolo/reverb, and massive, swirling atmospheric tone (most famously used by David Gilmour during the late ’70s Animals / The Wall era).

Condition & Functionality:

 Functional Condition: Fully operational. All rotating horns spin properly, the motors engage as they should, and the stationary speakers pump out plenty of volume. The controls, reverb, and tremolo function as expected.

 Cosmetic Condition: Player’s grade / vintage wear. As seen in the photos, the exterior shows significant cosmetic age. The grill cloth has visible discoloration/fading, and the vinyl/tolex and aluminum trim show scuffs, scratches, and patina typical for a stage-used vintage amp of this era.

 Includes aftermarket/compatible footswitch (pictured) to toggle the rotor speeds and effects.
