Vintage Premier 2000 Flo-Beam 5x14 Snare Drum — Chrome Over Aluminium (COA), Made in England (Video Demo)

Vintage Premier 2000 snare, chrome over aluminum shell, 5“ x 14", made in England — badge serial 12917 (stamped 129LF). This is the model's iconic FloBeam parallel-action snare mechanism: the throw-off bar and brackets sit clear of the shell for fuller resonance, and the double-height-adjustment screws let you dial in exact wire tension. Die-cast hoops, slotted tension rods. It’s an incredible drum!

I’m Including a Sonor drum key with both slotted and square drive heads — since this drum's tension rods are the slotted style. Currently fitted with a Remo Weatherking Ambassador snare side and an Evans G1 batter side — both in good playing shape — plus upgraded Puresound wires.

Condition: Chrome is bright overall. I put on a fresh coat of chrome polish to protect it too.

There are scattered small flecks across the shell exterior and top hoop and minor chrome pitting in a couple of spots, which is typical and expected on aluminum-shell Premiers of this age. FloBeam throw-off engages very smoothly, all lugs and tension rods present and functional, no dents, no extra holes, no modifications. All hardware is original. Lugs, screws, rods, hoops, Flo-beam system. All original except heads & upgraded to Puresound wires.
