Another rare snare from my collection being offered. Very common color from the 80’s but not a common size despite it being the 80’s and the era of big arena rock bands with Tommy Lee being one of the big users of these. Maple fiberglass was Pearls premier shell line in the 80’s too. The inner of the shell has a thin fiberglass layer applied giving the shell a unique tonal quality. The typical warm maple sound with less overtones and a slightly brighter response. The drum itself is very nice, shell has some scratches and small marks as seen in the pictures. Chrome bits are very nice with little signs of use. Complete with all original parts and fully functional with no issues. Newish heads and wire straps were replaced as well.
