Peavey Raptor Plus Electric Guitar

The Peavey Raptor Plus is a well built, low cost electric guitar that combines traditional styling elements with modern upgrades. The Raptor boasts solid wood construction, a fast slim to medium depth "C" profile neck, a dual expanding truss rod with exposed adjusting wheel, Powerbend tremolo and wide top pole pickups.Tonally, it's like a great Strat! Chiming and beautiful with bell-like cleans, albeit, with more girth and burliness than a typical Strat. This one is also very lightweight, coming in at 6 lb. 8 oz.  Overall, this Raptor shows a bit of play wear. There's some grunge, dings and impressions, swirling and light pick marks. The frets show a minor amount of play wear. For the price, you'll be hard pressed to get a better single coil guitar than this. It's kind of like the deranged love child of a Stratocaster and a Peavey Wolfgang.
