Because the top is a premium grade, Alvarez carved it slightly thinner to heighten vibration, while refining the radius of both the top and back to maximize acoustic volume.
• FS6 Forward-Shifted Scalloped X-Bracing: Born from continual development in the renowned Yairi workshops, the FS6 design shifts the X-brace axis closer to the soundhole, creating a larger soundboard area to harness vibration. Combined with carefully scalloped X-braces and asymmetric tone bars, this bracing produces a perfectly balanced EQ where both treble and bass registers are clearly present and harmonious.
