This is a really nice Jupiter JBS-593 low A baritone saxophone in overall excellent condition and ready to go. Aside from normal cosmetic marks like scratches, scuffs, and tiny insignificant dings along the horn, it’s clean and has clearly been well taken care of. It’s hard to find a reputable brand-name baritone for a good price without any dings, and none of these affect the sound whatsoever. It was just recently professionally serviced, play tested multiple times, is perfectly in tune, and sounds amazing. It plays perfectly from top to bottom. The tone is warm, full, and powerful with solid projection, and the horn feels comfortable under the fingers. The keys are properly regulated, the pads seal tightly with no leaks, and the springs feel quick and responsive.

The action stays light and even for a bari, with no heavy spots and no sluggish return. Soft playing still speaks cleanly, and the horn stays composed when you put more air through it. The registers stay balanced, so nothing feels uneven or hard to control. Low notes open up freely, including the low A, and the upper end keeps its core instead of thinning out.
