Rare early-'80s Fender Champ II, made in Fullerton, California during the Rivera era.
The Champ II was produced for a very short period and is an unusual Fender design, delivering 18 watts from a pair of 6V6 power tubes in a compact combo. Controls are Volume, Treble, Bass and Master, with a pull mid-boost on the Treble control.
This amp has been fitted with a 12" Eminence Patriot Red White & Blues speaker in place of the original 10". The larger American-voiced speaker gives the amp a big, full sound while retaining the compact dimensions and straightforward tube circuit that make the Champ II such a cool little Fender.
Cosmetically, the amp is in very nice condition for its age. Tolex, grille cloth, faceplate, knobs and hardware all present very well. Please see the photos for condition.
