The Anthem SL is the streamlined version of L.R. Baggs' flagship acoustic system: the patented Tru-Mic — an internal microphone mounted against the bridge plate with noise-cancelling that removes the honky, boxy inside-the-guitar sound — carries the vast majority of the tone, while the Element pickup handles only the lowest frequencies for feedback resistance. The blend is preset, so the soundhole control is just volume and a mic trim: install it and play. The closest an under-the-bridge system gets to a good microphone.
