The T-40 is one of the most important models from Peavey’s early production of electric basses. A bass designed with a distinctly American philosophy: extremely solid construction, outstanding reliability, and surprisingly versatile electronics.

The ash body, showcased by the Natural finish, highlights the distinctive grain of the wood, while the maple neck contributes to the instrument’s characteristic punchy attack and strong sonic presence.

The two Peavey humbucker pickups and the T-40’s unique circuitry provide a remarkably wide range of tones, from full and deep bass sounds to brighter and more aggressive tones, making it an extremely interesting instrument for rock, funk, alternative, and more experimental genres.
