I'm selling a very nice 2007 Gibson Custom shop Historic '57 Reissue Les Paul Custom VOS Faded Cherry Electric Guitar. It's in excellent near mint condition with no fret ware or buckle rash. Just had a fresh setup and ready to play. This guitar is a real tone monster that can really scream or play nice and clean...Comes with the Gibson custom shop case, hang tag's, paperwork and COA...Weighs in at a well balanced 9lb 11oz...Also has a beautiful ebony fingerboard! The VOS finish really gives it the vintage look too...
This is a rare version of the Black Beauty 57 only in faded cherry. It shows the natural mahogany grain not typically found in the black version. It's the same guitar as the Black Beauty version.
The introduction of Gibson's Les Paul Model in 1952 marked the beginning of the electric solid body guitar era. The launch of the company's "deluxe" version two years later – the Les Paul Custom – cemented Gibson's legacy as the industry leader. Nicknamed the "Fretless Wonder" for its low frets, the Les Paul Custom was introduced at the same time as the Gibson Les Paul Junior and represented the ultimate in Gibson solid body design at the time.
• Faded Cherry VOS Finish • Solid Mahogany Body not weight relieved. • Mahogany Neck long neck tenon. • Ebony Fretboard • 22 Frets • 24-3/4" Scale Length • Early ’50s Rounded Neck Profile .920 1st fret 1.01 12th fret. • Vintage-Style Kidney Tulip Tuners • Gold Hardware • Burstbucker Pickups • CTS Potentiometers
