PCB for building a RX5USB programmable cartridge.
This is not a fully built RX5USB cartridge but ONLY the PCB for you to build the cartridge by yourself.
Soldering skills are required and therefore please attempt this DIY project at YOUR OWN RISKS.
We'll provide you with a link to download the DIY build guide with the BOM as well as the editor software, our free banks (among them the complete original Yamaha WRC collection) and the user manual (English).
The editor software works on Windows OS only.
It is known to be working on Windows XP up to Windows 11.
For Mac users, it is possible to use the software on a virtual Windows machine in Virtualbox.
In our workshop, we could test and have the cartridge recognize on Windows XP, Windows 7 (64bit) and Windows 11 as well as virtual Windows XP and Windows 7 (64bit) machines in Virtualbox on a Macintosh computer.

Regarding the banks:
The banks we provide are for example/demo purposes.
Some of them are the old Gligli and Pharmasonic banks.
They might not be to pro standards and were not meant to be.
For quality sounds, we recommend to use RX5USB for what it was made for in the 1st place: create your own banks.
The RX5USB cartridge can contain the data of 2 ROM cartridges.
In other words, it's like having 2 cartridges in 1.
2 for the price of one...
