Shergold Marathon bass 70s. Its the first series Mark 1. It has a stereo / mono switch. You can use a stereo cable splitting the top 2 strings and the bottom two into two amps if you like or just go normal mono. Shergolds are / were used by Peter Hook, Mike Rutherford, Julian Cope, etc. This is a great bass but it needs a setup and has a bit of fret buzz. Ive priced it accordingly. I bought it in England years ago. Always wanted one but I dont seem to have the time / energy to sort it out. I have too many basses so it could be yours. Same body as Hayman and a Burns connection as well. Shipping to mainland US $45. International buyers please research international shipping cost yourself (Use a fender precision from L.A. 91506 as a template) to your location to determine if its of interest and then we can groove that thang. It has a nice light (Mahogony I think?) body and is similar in tone to a P bass but a bit more balanced, full smooth voice and less mid bump hinting towards a Rick imho. Precisionbacker. Ive heard them with flat, plastic coated and roundwound strings and all rocked.
