Charvel Pro-Mod San Dimas IV in satin black with amazing gig ready upgrades!
These Charvel Pro-Mod basses are absolutely amazing workhorses! Lightweight, and off the shelf appointments such as glow in the dark inlays, truss rod adjustment spoke wheel at the neck heel, and a slim, jazz width roasted maple neck make these basses great for any gigging musician. They're also great platforms for upgrades, and this one takes care of that for you!
Hardware: The original chrome hardware has been replaced with black USA Hipshot hardware all around. The black tuners against the roasted maple looks AMAZING and gives the bass a little bit of "high end" class the chrome doesn't have.
The addition of a matching Hipshot Xtender key on the 4th string allows you to down tune to a set note at the flip of a lever.
Electronics: The passive pickups and 3 band eq have been replaced with EMG-X ceramic & steel PJ set. the 3 band eq has been replaced with a Lusithand Devices BMF800 4 band preamp and Filter Pre. High, High Mid, Low Mid, and Low frequencies, and a sweepable filter make this bass the ultimate chameleon. Metal, Rock, Funk, Country, Jazz, Reggae... any sound you want can be found in these knobs!
