Goodall has built fewer than ten guitars in total using Robusta (Red Eucalyptus) for the back & sides, so it’s a pretty rare tonewood for them. The wood sets all came from a tree that fell on the northeast side of the Big Island of Hawaii.
This CJC is in outstanding cosmetic condition. Playability is excellent, with action at 6/64” and 4/64” for the low E and high E strings, respectively, at the 12th fret, and the neck relief is .006” at the 6th fret. Fret wear is negligible.
Like most Goodalls, it has a very lush, beautiful sound. You'll be pleased!
