About this listing
Takamine GD51-NAT G-Series G50 Acoustic Guitar in Natural Finish
The GD51-NAT delivers the comfortable, responsive feel of a well-balanced dreadnought with a slim mahogany neck and bound rosewood fingerboard that sits naturally in hand. This is a solid-top instrument built for players who want legitimate tonal depth without unnecessary frills—the kind of guitar that rewards consistent playing with warm, resonant response across all registers.
Construction & Materials
The pairing of a solid spruce top with rosewood back and sides produces the big, bold tone expected from a dreadnought platform. The split-saddle rosewood bridge design provides superior intonation, allowing chords and single-note runs to speak with clarity and sweetness across the frequency range.
Playability & Hardware
The 12-inch radius fingerboard and slim neck profile create a comfortable platform for fingerstyle and flatpicking alike. Hardware includes a synthetic bone nut and saddle for stable tuning, gold die-cast tuners for reliable mechanical performance, and cosmetic details like mother-of-pearl dot inlays, an abalone rosette, and a rosewood headcap that reinforce the instrument's build quality.
