Panoramica
This model marked the final iteration of the single cut Duo Jet. DeArmond single coils were replaced with Filter'Tron humbuckers, and the "humpback" inlays were replaced with "thumbnail" inlays. One knob was dropped from the lower bout, and a second "tone" switch was added. A zero fret was also added around 1959. Later in 1961, the Duo Jet would be updated to a double cutaway design.
The Duo Jet was produced alongside the Jet Firebird and Silver Jet models, and feature identical specifications aside from color.
