About this listing
Fender Jazz Bass Deluxe Active Rosewood MIM 2009 Pre-Owned with active electronics This is a pre-owned Fender Jazz Bass Deluxe Active, built in 2009 at Fender's factory in Ensenada, Mexico. Alongside the Precision Bass, the Jazz Bass is one of the two bass models that define Fender's sound, and the Deluxe Active version adds a built-in active preamp to the familiar Jazz Bass shape. The rosewood fingerboard gives a warm, round attack fitting this model's character. Thanks to the active electronics, you have more control over the tone than with a passive Jazz Bass: the built-in preamp adds extra output and room to adjust the low and high frequencies. That makes this bass suited to a wide range of styles, from pop and rock to funk, with further shaping possible through your own amp or pedals.
