ESP LTD KH-602 Kirk Hammett Guitar Purple Sparkle B-Stock
The KH-602 is a neck-thru signature model engineered for aggressive metal and hard rock tones, delivering the high-output articulation and sustain Kirk Hammett demands from his stage instruments. Built with professional-grade hardware and active EMG electronics, this guitar channels signature aesthetics into a genuinely capable platform for both rhythmic heaviness and precision lead work. The striking purple sparkle finish combines visual presence with battle-tested construction.
Tone and Electronics
Paired EMG Kirk Hammett Bone Breaker Signature humbucking pickups deliver high-output, articulate tones with natural sustain across the frequency spectrum. Active EMG electronics ensure consistent output and clear note definition, responding predictably to both aggressive picking and controlled dynamics while maintaining the aggression this signature series is known for.
Construction and Hardware
Neck-thru construction using a 3-piece maple neck bolted to an alder body maximizes tonal transfer and structural integrity for extended sustain and resonance. The pau ferro fingerboard with 350mm radius provides a moderately curved playing surface suited to lead and rhythm work, while 24 extra-jumbo frets with skull-and-bones inlays accommodate aggressive bending and precision fretting. The Floyd Rose 1000 bridge system enables extensive tremolo manipulation and maintains tuning stability during extreme pitch shifts.
