The Chandler Limited TG2 recreates the circuit and sound of the preamps in classic EMI recording consoles from the '60s and '70s, as used in the famed Abbey Road Studios. The Beatles, Pink Floyd, and a wealth of other legendary bands made their flagship albums on these consoles, and the fat, harmonic tones owe much to the sound of the TG consoles. The Chandler Limited TG2 Special Edition Abbey Road Preamp / DI features the same discrete, transformer-coupled amplifiers to bring that tone to the modern studio in spades.
