In perfect working order.. no damage of any kind.. only some scratches due to insertion and removal on the rack.. a clone with the same specifications (transformers identical to the originals), top-end capacitors, vishay resistors and JJ valves. No noise, buzzing or strange sounds. It has a shielded and larger power supply unlike the original or the various clones that are around the various markets. thus improving the signal-to-noise ratio and not pulling the smaller power supply to the corner.. which by design always risks burning out if kept at high temperatures, for example in a rack closed near other preamps... the power supply with the same specifications but larger is an additional choice of mine which has made it more stable and quiet.) So I sound very quiet and clean. But if pulled by force it introduces splendid valve saturation that winks a lot at Avalon..
Checked for sale last month by a very experienced technician. Absolutely no problems or problems found.
It's a clone built 10 years ago by QWERTY, I know he works for SSL now.
On snare, toms and voices it is fantastic, soft but if with gain and volume almost at the maximum super valve sound, but never acid and exaggerated. very hot and enveloping sound.. I feel it very similar to avalon. with d.i. input with electric bass or synthesisers it is very defined on transients .. very open on high frequency (very good even with cymbals\overhead)
I'm selling because I don't need valve colours anymore. I switched to systems like Millennia with which I work better for my tastes and works.
