The tape on the front is just a cushion for the switch to turn on since it didn't turn on when i got it, it works like it should and doesn't have anything that affects the tone. The 4 rubber feet and 1 screw is missing but nothing else is wrong. You can take off the tape if you want to put a new mod to the switch or you can leave as-is.
