1941 Kay-Tone Emperor natural

Good condition, 6/10, Made in Sweden, including original hardcase, non-cutaway, some fret wear, replaced pickguard, a repaired crack under the pickguard, lots of wear, Emperor was the top-of-the-line model of Kay-Tone archtops made by Levin in Gothenburg, Sweden (the other models were Count and Duke), the tailpiece has the EL-brand which means it was sold by Erik Nilsson who had a music store in Eskilstuna, more info: The Kay-Tone line of guitars was made by Levinduring 1939-1947 for Ehrling & Löfvenholm, a music store and music publishing company formed in 1939 by famous Swedish band leader and composer Thore Ehrling and Berthel Löfvenholm,
