Warwick Dolphin pro2 | Rare model & Fine condition | Free shipping | Made in Japan

This is a very unique, all original and very sweet older (90s) Warwick Dolphin Pro 2. We are sure to make any fellow Warwick enthusiast happy :)

Normally, Dolphin Pro 2 has Ash body but this one got Maple top & Mahogany back body. There is no warranty card, we can't say for sure but we believe this is a special-order model. Figured maple neck also gives the impression of special spec.

Fret not worn, No heavy damage (some small dings on the body).
Neck is straight and truss rod works. We don't hesitate to say You will never have opportunity to obtain an instrument in similar condition!

Dolphin has the most unique shape in Warwick's products.
But because of the long horn and extra thin body, play ability is amazing especially played standing. It feels much lighter than its actual weight(4.22kg=9.48lbs) and does not tire you out even after long hours of playing.

There are many variations in the layout of Warwick's pickups, but this bass has J-J pickups mounts on closer position near near the bridge (like Thumb bass). Because of the shape & location of the pickups, you can have solid & edgy sounds easily.

Electronics are Warwick's proprietary MEC with active two band EQ, volume and tone controls. The pickups are jazz style and placed closer to the bridge providing for nice aggressive tones as well as traditional tones. The bass sounds great and give you a lot of flexibility.

What makes this particular model unique to the Dolphin line is that it was made in Japan.
In an effort to make a more affordable Dolphin Bass, Warwick developed this model which has more streamlined configuration. They produced about 200-300 of these in Germany and realized that in order to offer it at the lower price point they had in mind it would be best to  move production to Japan, and so they did. The model was made from 1991-1999 and was very successful.
