One of the most responsive instruments I've ever played.
Youtube link to it being played here:
Fully serviced and COA'd last year by Dave Schottle at David's Instrument Repair. Excellent quality Buescher 400 tenor from around 1964--was extremely well kept up with by the original owner before me, whom I've heard was a lawyer who barely played. Great intonation through the entire range of the horn--feels as if it tunes itself, and has been used in countless studio sessions.
This horn is ideal for someone who wants a warm, fat, clear sound with top end sizzle. Listen to the recording above.
All original pads and resonators except for low F and high D. NOTE-Does NOT include mouthpiece or the pictured weighted neck screw--the original neck screw will be shipped with the instrument.
