B.C. Rich Body Art Series The Deceiver 2003

This is a B.C.Rich Body Art Collection ASM electric guitar in ‘The Deceiver’ finish (Artist known as The Snake). The Body Art Collection are a selection of limited edition electric guitars made by the guitar manufacturer B.C. Rich. The series is based on the company's 'platinum series' and was made over two years from January 2003 until December 2004. The classic B.C. Rich shapes were given a new look with various images. Each guitar in the series carries a unique serial number and a 'limited edition' plaque on the reverse of the guitar, incorporated into the bolt-on neck. Made in China in March 2003, this guitar features a Basswood body, Maple neck and 24 fret Rosewood fingerboard with diamond inlays. This guitar is fitted with Black hardware including a string-through bridge and B.C.Rich sealed tuning machines. The pickups installed are a B.C.Rich BDSM humbucker and a B.C.Rich Dual Rail single-coil which are wired to a 3-way toggle switch, master volume and master tone controls. 

The Maple neck sits comfortably in the hand, with a thin profile offering a razor sharp and ergonomic thumb positioning up and down the neck, perfect for fast lead lines and solos. This is enhanced by the Rosewood fingerboard, which with its 16" radius delivers a tailored playing experience in any position. Chord playing is comfortable in the lower register, whilst the higher register is well suited to lead playing and string bending. The Jumbo frets provide a rock solid playing surface, whilst also improving vibrato and string bending feel. 

The B.C.Rich ‘BDSM’ humbucker installed in this guitar produces a thick and full-bodied tone, perfect for more distortion-heavy styles of music with a high output that saturates into a searing distortion when cranking the grain. The B.C.Rich Dual Rail single-coil in the neck position features a slightly increased output power and provides a smooth, warm, rounded tone that handles distorted tones as well as it handles clean tones. The simple control layout offers comprehensive control of your tone without being intrusive, meaning you can focus on your playing.

There's a mark on the lower end of the body as you can see in the pictures and that is the reason of the reduced price.
