RARE Burny 61 SG Custom style "lawsuit" era guitar with revered VH-1 pickups!

Ultra-rare original vintage c 1980’s Burny 61 Les Paul custom SG 3 pickup model in excellent playing condition! These old Burnys are incredible axes, absolute top quality Japanese craftsmanship, and runs circles around the USA Gibson custom shop models.

These are fairly rare, and were the top of the line for Burny during the golden age of Japanese Luthiery. 

This one is particularly desirable because it's loaded with 3 VH-1 pickups from the factory.  VH-1 pickups are, in my (and many others) opinion as good a PAF clone as any boutique wind out there.  Killer tone.

The tennon neck is chunky but effortless, frets excellent, and those PAF VH-1 humbuckers are pure magic. The guitar is also very well balanced, with no neck dive. She plays like an old friend. Total keeper.

Cosmetically, she’s very nice indeed, with natural finish and play wear, all superficial, all legit mojo, all included at no extra charge. 

A solid-body guitar (it weighs 3.40 kilos 7.5 lbs ) that is from the late-80's based on the truss rod cover and general build.

It has marked VH-1 pickups and a long neck tennon.

Super cool with great playability and fantastic tone

The spec/ condition report: 

·Body/ neck: mahogany

·Fingerboard: rosewood

·Neck shape/ profile: '50s thick, about .9 at first fret (see photos). This is ultra-rare for Japanese (and Gibson) SGs.

·Pickups:  unmarked VH-1 pickups from the factory. Many claim they're as good a PAF clone as any boutique wind out there

 Neck is a little on the chunky side (just like the Gibson SG Customs that I've played)

The guitar is in excellent used condition (see pics) - It is clean front and back with basically no marks. The colour has faded to a slight yellowy white with some minor uneveness on the back but its not bad. 

The back of the C profile neck is clean as is the headstock other than a couple of tiny chips on the corners. The original hardware is in excellent order with basically no wear to the goldplate -a little light tarnish on pup covers-and working fine.

The electrics are fine with the original VH-1 pickups.

The fretboard is good with the frets not showing any wear.
