Happy to be able to propose you , this now quite rare and superb early NOS VALVO 12AX7 ecc83 45° declined getter.
Tests results : 107 % 115 %
Code on the bottom ; I60 D0I
This early I60 model has been produced only for a quite short period, it has short plate, 45° declined getter, nickel rods and code on bottom between pins.
This tube was made in the Valvo factory of Hamburg , Germany, one in September 1960
When giving them my usual auditioning test for sound , noise and microphony prior to listing, I really hesitated to sell them (I tested 3 of these same I60 model so one pair and this single) because they sound so good ! Both in pure music listening in an hifi device or in guitar amp where they also shine. It's a real joy to play them.
They are warm, thick sounding with a lot of clarity, as detailed with the best clarity as Heerlen production, but sweeter and punchier. They are "crispy" and rich sounding with a very nice chime. Very reactive responsive under the pick and finger and a very musical tube.
I A/B them with some of of my favorite tubes and well, I wanted to keep them these I60 even more !
Highly recommended tubes !
Here is the opportunity to get a perfect NOS new unused perfectly matched pair of these little gems.
They are highly sought after in the audiophiles world and one of the best guitar amp tube.
They would make wonders, I'm sure make, in any pro studio preamp or device.
Must be great also in some tube eq because of their linearity , large frequency response and detailed sound.
This one is very strong and perfectly balanced , within 6% so very good for stereo use.

The Jackson 648. It is definitely one of my favorite tube testers. While it does not employ a mutual conductance test circuit, it does use an advanced emission circuit that applies separate element voltages to each tube element, and separate load circuits are also used. “These voltages and loads have been carefully selected for each tube to meet most ideally the normal operating condition of the tube.” (Source: 1950 Jackson catalog.)
In my experience, the Jackson circuitry is very effective, and often will surprise you with accuracy that approaches Hickok’s coveted “mutual conductance” test method. ( Source tubesound web site.)
I do my best to test and describe the tubes the best I can. Note that test results may vary from one tester to an other so this must be taken as an indication, although my jackson is regulary tested for calibration. Photos are part of the description you get what you see. ,I do my best to test and describe the tubes the best I can.
