For sale is a rare epiphone sg vintage faded. Made in Korea. Unsung Factory. This model actually has neck binding and very uncommon rounder c neck profile. Completely upgraded with USA Gibson 490T/490R pickups, Bournes low friction pots, nos paper in oil caps and vintage cloth covered 22 gauge wire.
Action is really low and buzz free, a little wear on frets near nut but nothing that affects playability. Finish was a nitro lacquer esque satin, but has become more shiny along the neck and where the forearm cut is. Looks really vintage at this point. There's very minimal wear on the guitar overall especially for its age and is honestly one of the best sg's I've ever played. Wouldn't be getting rid of it but I already have a Gibson and don't need the redundance.
Note - pics of wiring do not show the 490T/R which have silver braided wiring. Had different tonerider type alnico ii 57 style pickups when I first did the mod which are currently installed and sound great. Will install the 490T/R and take shots before shipping.
