New made Chonguri, with traditional design and construction - with wooden regulators (pegs) and originally, without frets. Instruments body and finger-board are made of the Chestnut wood. It is covered only by transparent special light lacquers. Instrument is well made, with nice decent design and presents very clear work. Whole instrument is only handmade and has excellent sound performance. It is well suited as for solo part performance as for accompaniment.

There are some used tunings for Chonguri:
F A C, "Zili" - E (shorter string) - most widespread tuning, from top to down. The tuning of these strings are always the same, only sometimes changing "Zili" tune, it may be turned in G. depending which song is performed. Musician on the video plays current tuning.

Low sound F - 3rd string
Middle sound A - 2nd string
Higher sound C - 1 st string
"Zili” - E (or A, or G)
