Custom Fuzz Face matched pair BC 108B & C: Drop-In Upgrade Circuit: Complete hand matched pair BC108B & C Fuzz Face circuit for mounting in a standard Fuzz Face enclosure or a different case of your choice. Awesomely fuzzy soounds that cleans-up very well when you roll back the guitar volume, yet retains a bit of growl. Its a wall of fuzz when everything is wideopen. This is a similar circuit as a typical Dunlop BC108 Jimi H. Fuzz Face.
Transistors are identical to the BC108's used in vintage Silicon Fuzz Faces and the Dunlop Jimi Hendrix FF model. All new components : Alpha pots; 500k A for Volume and 1k B for Fuzz, Reproduction vintage PCB, new switch and jacks. New old stock carbon composition resistors too!
A trim pot is installed on the board to tweak the Q2 bias, which is currently set at the standard 4.5v, but you can back it off down to 3.0v-3.5v and get that farty-rippy dying battery sound.
The in/out jacks are wired sideway to avoid grounding out to the enclosure or base plate if you are mounting the circuit in Dunlop JDF2 cases (The Red FF's). Those cases do not allow for much clearance, so be mindful that. The Hendrix cases are no problem.
Pot, Switch and Jacks all have complete mounting hardware. New Top-Hat knobs included.
