The Ibanez Concord 684 is a striking example of a Lawsuit period guitar that gripped the guitar world in the 1970s. The Japanese guitars built during this period approached, and sometimes even surpassed, their American examples in quality and sound.

This Ibanez is a copy of the Gibson Hummingbird, and is equipped with a laminated mahogany back and sides with a solid spruce top. The double binding and characteristic engraved pickguard adorn the guitar, although the color of the engraving has largely disappeared on this guitar.

The guitar also has playwear that is to be expected given the age of the guitar, but is very clean overall and comes in a hardshell case.
