Early 1970's Garnet Session Man G250FTR [Fully Serviced]

Here is a very nice Garnet Session Man from the early 1970's.

The date code on the choke is 1970, also the year that Garnet moved to rounded corner head shells.

50W with built in Fuzz, Tremolo, and Reverb.

It's extremely loud for a 50W amp, as loud as you could possibly need.

Just fully serviced with everything it needs for the next few decades. Very high quality parts used throughout.

Power tubes are brand new JJ, preamp tubes are vintage with most being original Garnet branded tubes (mostly marked 'Made in Great Britain').

It is all original except for the wearable parts replaced during servicing listed below. All the important bits are original (transformers, reverb tank, vast majority of components, etc.).

The built in effects are all fantastic, Fuzz is INSANE, lush bias-vary tremolo, and beautiful sounding Reverb.

This head is a ton of fun to play and I will be sad to see it go.

There is a rectangular cut out in the front panel, behind the grill cloth. Nearly invisible, but you can see the tubes glow from the front when the amp is running. Looks great and has the added benefit of helping keep the tubes cool and ventilated.

Note that you need a foot switch to activate the Fuzz. Any basic one button foot switch should work. Reverb and Tremolo are on by default.
