This brand new Eric Clapton Signature Strat is completely built by Todd Krause, who has been working with Fender since 1991 and will soon be celebrating his 25th anniversary at the Fender Custom Shop. Todd Krause is one of the most renowned Master Builders, and is the luthier Clapton chooses to build his Strats.

Where Clapton's Brownie had an ash body, this Strat has an alder body just like Eric's 'other' workhorse. Other features also found on here are the single-ply pickguard, the maple neck with typical V-profile and the blocked tremolo.

What is immediately apparent is that Eric had more requirements for his signature guitar. This masterbuilt Strat contains noiseless pickups and 25db boost circuit, to ensure a whole tonal spectrum right at his fingertips. The looks have not been an afterthought on this Strat either with the exceptionally luxurious Almond Green finish and a jaw-dropping flamed maple neck.
