CTS 250k Reverse Audio (True Lefty) DPDT Push Pull Long Shaft Potentiometer - Custom Modded Pots!

For some reason - standard CTS push/pull pots are readily available in A250k or A500k - but that's about it. If you want something special like a No-Load, or true lefty Reverse-Audio you can forget it - CTS doesn't make those.

I've been custom modding these for my own builds for years, and it's been requested that I offer these modded pots for DIY builders.

- DPDT Switch
- Long Shaft
- Split-Shaft, Fine-Spline *

* Brass solid-shaft conversion sleeves included upon request. If you absolutely need these in native solid-shaft I can certainly make those as well - but I never keep solid-shaft push/pulls in stock, so it'll add a week or so for me to get them in. (The brass sleeves work great!)

I see you have both SPST and DPDT push/pulls - what's the difference, and which one do I need?
CTS Push/Pull pots come in two types of attached switch - Single-Pole, Single-Throw (SPST) - or Double-Pole, Double-Throw (DPDT). It means that it can either switch one thing, or it can switch two things. You can always substitute a DPDT in place of a SPST. However, you can never substitute a SPST for a DPDT.

Which one you need depends on what function you're trying to do. For example:

• If you're coil-splitting a humbucker, or activating a "tappable" (dual-output) Tele bridge pickup - a DPDT will work fine, but all you really need is a SPST.
• If you're doing Series/Parallel switching, or Phase-Reversal - then you must use a DPDT.

Why are your custom pots so expensive?
Some cost more than others - as I may have to use 2 or even 3 pots to make one custom pot. The end result however is a custom top-quality CTS pot that you simply can't find anywhere else - because they don't exist.
