Oskar Graf Archtop 2006

Since 1970, Oskar Graf has been designing and building stringed instruments for an exclusive and esteemed group of musicians. Oskar's extensive knowledge and dedication to his art is reflected in the creation of his guitars.

This beautiful Archtop in near mint condition from 2006 is a good example of this. Crafted from meticulously selected solid tonewoods with an eye for detail and authenticity. The back and sides are made of flamed maple topped with a quarter-sawn Sitka spruce top with a very fine grain. Very stylish are the ebony pickguard, bridge and tailpiece.

This Oskar Graf Archtop plays exceptionally smooth and sounds very warm. Ideally suited for jazzy Chord-melody playing. The sound also comes into its own acoustically. The wood resonates wonderfully, which in addition to the perfect sound also enhances the enjoyment of playing.
