Modulus Graphite Blackknife Black Knife Strat Stratocaster Neck

Up for sale is a hard to find Blackknife Guitar Neck from Modulus Graphite. It is a bolt-on replacement for a Fender Stratocaster or Telecaster type guitar. For aficionados of Graphite-necked guitars, this is one of the Holy Grails. They sound much better than the necks made by Moses and others.

This is not one of the licensed Ibanez or Alvarez necks. It is an original Modulus neck, made in California by Geoff Gould and his crew.

This neck is in very good condition. It has some small superficial scratches on the back of the neck, but nothing that can't be buffed out. The frets show some light wear on the first few frets, but they are high, and have lots of room for a fret level and dress to make it perfect.

It has sealed black tuning machines that are not original. They do not line-up with the original anti-rotation screw holes, but there do not appear to be any extra holes drilled.

There are 4 holes where a locking mechanism for a Floyd Rose tremolo was mounted. These holes have been filled with black epoxy, and a bar-type “string tree” has been installed.

It has the original neck plate and mounting screws, which are very hard to find.
