Here we have on offer one of our most popular vintage British mic pre units
Built from 1950s 60s pro quality parts and fully serviced then rebuilt into a new 19" rack enclosure. Sound is just amazing and a true vintage British flavour
Has the very warm sounding EF86 high gain input valve/tube as used in many vintage high end consoles and preamps like the EMI units also had. Add to this an EX BBC console mic input transformer, a Carnhill balanced line output transformer and you get a pro quality piece of kit.
sound wise studios have described these as somewhere between the classic V72 and REDD47 units

Also fitted is a dedicated 48v power supply for Phantom power, built with a toroidal low noise power transformer... seriously high quality!
