Andy Manson is a well known and highly sought after UK luthier based in Crowborough Sussex, producing small numbers of high end hand made guitars.
This is a 1984 Nightingale, which he himself say's he made fewer than 20 of and are a very rare find indeed. This particular guitar was made for Ivor Mairants of London.
Plays beautifully with oodles of projection for a smaller bodied guitar. Back and sides are made from a high quality mahogany topped with a well played in spruce top. Herringbone binding and rosette finishes this little guitar off to perfection, disarmingly understated but don't be fooled this is a truly superb guitar!
There are marks and signs of wear as one would expect with a guitar of this age.
