2000 Fender American Nashville B-Bender Telecaster Electric Guitar USA w/ohsc

Up for sale, a 2000 Fender American Nashville B-Bender Telecaster in excellent condition and in perfect working order. Featuring the Parsons-Green B-Bender system, this USA-made Tele utilizes the front strap button as the vehicle for engaging the B-Bender mechanism. Perfect for emulating smooth pedal steel-esque bends and twangy, glassy pitch shifts, the B Bender is a Nashville favorite, and so it's only appropriate that the guitar is outfitted with the typical "Nashville" pickup compliment as well including a Custom Shop Texas Special pickup in the middle position between a pair of '52 Tele Custom Shop single coils. Weighing in at 9lbs 12oz, this Tele is particularly versatile, incredibly fun to play, and only very lightly used since new! We've had the guitar professionally setup here at Mike & Mike's Guitar Bar and freshly restrung with 10-46 strings.

The maple neck features a full and round C shaped profile with decent chunk and generous shoulder. The modern 9 1/2" radius fretboard features 22 medium jumbo frets which are particularly clean and show barely a hint of wear. The nut is a full 1 5/8" in width, and the spacing is ideal for chording, fingerpicking, and accurate lead work. On the headstock, the chrome Fender-branded Schaller tuners turn very smoothly and hold pitch well, even with heavy use of the B-Bender mechanism.

All of the electronics work as they should, with five-way Strat-o-Tele switching. The chrome hardware shows some light patina on the treble side edge of the bridge base as well as the neck plate, yet the hardware is otherwise very clean including the chrome cover on the B-Bender mechanism which shines like new. There's also a small #/b wheel on the B-Bender to adjust the range of the pitch variation when the unit is engaged. The gloss Black finish shows a spot of light, targeted buckle rash central to the back which doesn't penetrate the finish and additionally the body shows only a few light scuffs in the clear coat on the guitar as a whole. The neck profile is flawless, with a silky smooth, semi-gloss finish.

This lightly played B-Bender Tele has just been professionally setup and is ready for stage and studio work.
