Ludwig Kingston vintage 4 string Tenor Banjo 1920's / 1930's w/case Sweet!

Here is a vintage Ludwig Kingston Banjo from the 20's or 30's.  They were made from approx 1925-1937 from what I gather.  I'd look up the serial number but I don't know where it is on the instrument.  

The banjo has been gone over recently and has been cleaned up.  It's ready to roll and sounding great!  Very punchy! Great to play too.  Great for small hands with low action and good intonation.

The banjo is in great shape for it's age.  It is missing one lug in the resonator.  It looks like a standard thread like that of a snare drum.  So it can be replaced easily.  It is fine as it is.  It does not affect anything.

Nut: bone.

Body: Rim: walnut.

Bracket hooks: 26 nickel-plated steel with square heads, fitting through holes in scalloped rim of tension hoop.

Tension hoop: nickel-plated bronze with 26 holes in scalloped rim for bracket hooks.

Armrest: nickel-plated brass. Resonator: seven-ply walnut with ivoroid binding along back edge;

Flange: nickel-plated steel flange with spade-shaped openings; nickel-plated brass screw at center. Tone ring interior: nickel-plated bronze.

Accessories: Original plywood case covered in black imitation-leather-texture Textrol with green corduroy lining, nickel-plated steel hardware, and later brown leather handle; varnished brass plaque inside case lid: Ludwig / TRADE MARK / BANJOS / THE ULTIMATE / IN BANJOS / CHICAGO, U. S. A.

Case:

The item includes the original hard shell case.  It has a Ludwig badge and is in very usable shape. However, the handle has broken but case be fixed easily.  Also, there are misc repairs on the case.  I think the top has been spray painted black.  Not sure but it looks so barely (should be mentioned).
