Teisco Del-Rey 1966 EP-10T- Red burst. One owner. 95% original

Up for grabs is a 1966 Teisco Del Rey EP-10t hollow body. This is a one owner guitar selling it for my buddy's Uncle. He bought a brand new when he was 15 years old. Played it for about a year and then it went under the bed and didn't see daylight until a few weeks ago. Check out the pictures for any little dings. There's a spot down by the input jack that looks like it's spider webbed or checking. I've gone through and cleaned everything. Fretboard is treated. Pots are cleaned. Plug in and play. It's like 95% original. The only things that aren't are the headstock badge lever knob for tone selection and the bracket for the pickguard. Yeah, it's got the pickguard. Hard to find. It plays great. I did shim the neck so it's got some better action. Hard to believe it's 60 years old. Some odd things would from the factory. The Total knob works opposite the way you would think it would. Also, the tone selector switch is not actually a pickup selector switch. Pickups are controlled by the volume knobs. That switch kind of varies your tone for you. All those components were original as is everything else except for the couple things I listed. It did have the original case as well but that thing is roached so it's going to ship in a clean padded gig bag. Just a cool closet Queen ready to get out and play again.
