The Spider IV series represents Line 6’s approach to accessible, versatile digital amplification designed for home practice, rehearsals, and studio track development. Built around modern modeling technology, the Spider IV 30 bridges the gap between classic analog amplifier characteristics and flexible, digital processing.
Housed in a sturdy, three-quarter closed-back enclosure, the unit features a single 12-inch custom speaker driven by a 30-watt solid-state power section. The top-front control panel provides a standard 1/4" instrument input, dedicated 3-band analog-style EQ controls, a master volume control, a 1/8" auxiliary input for external media playback, a 1/4" headphone/direct output, and an RJ-45 jack for optional FBV foot controller expansion.
