DiMarzio Air Norton S Strat Single Coil Sized Humbucker Pickup is warm sounding, very well balanced and has the same unique tonal characteristics as the original humbucker in a reduced footprint.With its rail, hum cancelling design, this S version is a very good distinctive sounding bridge pickup for all types of rock guitar. Its combination of medium output and harmonic bite are very effective for single note soloing as well as chords, letting your music take flight. While it doesn’t actually feature the air gap of its predecessor (The Airbucker), DiMarzio named this pickup after it because it gives you such a similar feel to having an air gap between the pickup magnet and the pole pieces. It features four conductor wiring for parallel humbucking and split coil modes, giving you tons of options. Recommended for all positions. Boasting ceramic rail style magnets, it also features the quick connect system, allowing you to speedily swap out and trial different pickups in your quick connected guitar.
