Daredevil Pedals collaborated with Miss Alex White of brother-sister rock duo White Mystery to deliver a raucous, Reverb-exclusive fuzz pedal called the Firekeeper. Miss Alex and Johnny from Daredevil based the Firekeeper’s scorching, dimed out sound on the best components of a slew of ‘70s muffs, bringing bits and pieces from each to flesh out their favorite fuzz.
Johnny says, “I wanted to do a project with a Chicago artist and I always thought that White Mystery was a very visually creative band,” which translated perfectly into a collaborative effort to make a totally original pedal with unique, creative artwork designed by Miss Alex herself. The huge, raw sound of White Mystery is reflected in this red muff, but if you want that unbridled, maximum fuzz, you’ll have to jump quickly - the Firekeeper is an exclusive, super-limited run of only ten pedals.
Each Firekeeper is signed by Miss Alex and Johnny and comes with a Souldier strap custom-made here in Chicago that bears the White Mystery logo in a patriotic red, white, and blue. Check out the video to see Miss Alex sign each of the ten pedals and then rock out with her brother on White Mystery’s “Dubble Dragon,” featuring the Firekeeper’s killer fuzz.
