The Steepwater Band Jams on "Dust My Broom" with Six Daredevil Drive Pedals

The Steepwater Band joined us in our in-house studio to rock out using six Daredevil fuzz and drive pedals. These pedals offer everything from classic Muff tones to totally original, super-tight fuzz. Take a look at some of the pedals’ specs - we’ve even got the scoop on a soon-to-be-released Daredevil pedal. And don’t forget to check out the video and listen the Steepwater Band jam on Elmore James’ “Dust My Broom,” because you’ll definitely regret missing out on this rendition.

Wolf Deluxe

The Wolf Deluxe is a warm fuzz with a slightly boxy tone that emulates a small vintage amp turned up hard. Choose between a flat or scooped EQ to play with your sound, and don’t sweat what kind of pickups you’re using - the Wolf Deluxe plays well with whatever equipment you’ve got.

Almighty Bass

The Almighty Bass has not yet been released and is currently under wraps, but we managed to snag a prototype for this video. All we can tell you is that it was designed specifically for bassists and will be able to handle whatever your bass can throw at it.

Black Yorba

The Black Yorba is Daredevil’s take on the Green Russian Muff - in fact, its circuitry was reverse-engineered from some old units they had in their possession. Its silicon transistors match the vintage Muff’s gain, but offers some modern tweaks to achieve an edge in your sustain.

Northern Creeper

The Northern Creeper is a newer offering from Daredevil, boasting circuits that hearken back to ‘70s fuzzes like those from Maestro and Shin-ei. Super-saturated and blown-out but tight, its Level and Attack controls are all you need to produce a fat, high-gain fuzz with impressive consistency.

Silver Solo

Living up to its name, the Silver Solo is a treble and gain boost with ‘60s Dallas Ringmaster-based circuitry perfect for sharp, fuzzy solos or rhythm. Salient harmonics and a suspended sustain help you cut through the mix and stand out at the front.

Nova

The Nova is Daredevil’s personal take on the fuzz, sporting silicon transistors that give you tight sound so your rhythms don’t drown in mud. A Nova can give you an awesomely wide range of dynamics, so you can create a subtle effect unlike most fuzzes, and it’s perfect for stacking in your signal chain.
