It utilizes a traditional multi-ply wooden frame construction with a gently arched top, heavy-duty chrome-finished latches, a molded plastic handle, and a black vinyl valence. The interior is lined with a medium-pile, crushed charcoal-gray plush synthetic faux fur over soft foam padding, complete with a single neck-support block and a standard flip-open accessory storage pocket. The wide, rounded lower bout and distinctive upper contour are engineered specifically to accommodate an Epiphone or Gibson Les paul.
