Up for sale is an awesome Ibanez RG565 Laser Blue Genesis Collection / 2022, Made in Japan /.

The RG565 is an RG series solid body electric guitar model reissued by Ibanez in late 2020.

This model is a reissue of the original RG565, which was produced in 1991 and 1992.

It was produced in Japan by FujiGen.

Similarities to the classic RG565 include a basswood body, a tilt neck joint with a stamped metal plate, a reversed headstock,

a maple fingerboard with color-matched dot position markers and an original Edge double locking tremolo bridge with a locking nut.

Differences include a five-piece laminated maple and walnut neck (the original neck was one-piece maple) and the pickups which

consist of an Ibanez V8 humbucker at the bridge and an Ibanez Infinity R single-coil sized humbucker at the neck.

A pair of new finishes — Laser Blue & Vampire Kiss — were offered as a limited edition through select US retailers in late 2021.

These were said to be limited to 50 units each, however these colors were offered in other markets in mid-2022.

Condition of the instrument :

The guitar is in excellent condition!

There are only 2 small marks - little paint crack on the neck pocket and small paint chip around tremolo cavity / see the last 2 photos /.

The guitar comes with non-original hard case.

RG565 Genesis Collection is the last reissue of the legendary model from early 90`s - Ibanez RG565, which was in production for only 2 years.

Unlike previous reissue models / RGR465M and RG3XXV Aniverssary, both produced in Indonesia /, RG565 Genesis is produced in FujiGen, Japan.

RG565 Genesis is as close as possible to original RG565, excellent japanese craftsmanship, quality materials and hardware / Edge tremolo, gotoh tuners /.

1 / Pick-ups

The only weak point, probably to achieve more affordable price, are the pick-ups.

This guitar deserve a lot more than stock pick-ups, so I have replaced them with high-end pick-ups taken from Caparison TAT Special FM / this guitar cost $5,158.80 USD /!

The neck pick-up - Caparison SH-27F provide very solid tone, articulation and clarity.

The bridge pick-up - Caparison PH-R is a pick-up has very strong modern sound.

I provide also stock pick-ups with the guitar!

The other mod that I have made is very nice LOXX strap locks, that are inserted in the guitar.
